Sino-Japanese Coast Guard Crisis Management Mechanism Workshop Held in Peking University

On Dec 15, 2018, a Sino-Japanese Coast Guard Crisis Management Mechanism Workshop is held at Peking University Overseas Exchange Center. Prof. Hu Bo from Peking University Institute of Ocean Research, and Dr. Alessio Patalano Reader from King's College London co-delivered the opening remarks. Representatives from China, Japan and the United Kingdom participated in the discussions and shared opinions.

There are three sessions in this workshop:

Session 1: How to Assess Improvements in Sino-Japanese Relations?

Session 2: Defense Policy in China and Japan: What implications for the ECS?

Session 3: How are the Chinese and Japanese Coast Guards Changing?

Through this workshop, participants have deepened the understanding of Sino-Japanese maritime security enforcement forces and management mechanisms.
